We believe that everyone should be included.
How do we achieve this?
Through the provision of weekly dance lessons for all ages and all abilities.
Group therapy - Counselling & social skills
Through the provision of opportunities for participants to perform in dance related events and celebrations.
Through the development of positive relationships within the group.
Through the identification of individual student strengths and skills so that we can showcase all talents and abilities.
Through the establishment of a family based organisation where parents are valued, involved and supported.
Through the provision of respite for parents and families during dance lesson session.
Through the spreading of awareness and understanding around disability and difference.
Who are we?
Everyone Can Dance Ltd [ECD] is a registered non-profit dance charity organisation based in the Macarthur Region of New South Wales.
ECD has dance members from over 20 postcodes around Sydney.
ECD has grown from local business and a parent support group in 2008 to a registered incorporated dance charity organisation in 2010.
ECD is managed and governed by a volunteer Management Committee.
The management committee comprises of experienced and qualified special educationalists and a psychologist.
Weekly dance lessons are led by qualified dance teachers and supported by a team of volunteer buddies.
